Current methods in treatment of aphasia (Métodos actuales en el tratamiento de la afasia)

Aphasia frequently leads to long-term consequences in language and communication. This paper presents an overview of current methods aphasia treatment, as well empirical data on their effectiveness limitations. We surveyed literature by accessing electronic databases Serbian libraries using specialized search engines the internet. A review papers confirmed existence numerous treatment today, which we conveniently grouped. The central place is occupied aimed at treating specific disorders type aphasia. Methods that are complementary language-oriented forms therapy also need be examined.
